High Paying Adsense Keywords Lists (Part 2)

In the first part of this series I left you with some points to ponder on in terms of how you could really profit from these high paying adsense keyword lists. The most obvious way when you think about it would be to build websites or blogs which focus their content on these high paying adsense keywords. Then the next step would be to serve the ads on the site together with the content, apply some SEO techniques and google would pay you a lot when your visitors click on your ads since these are expensive keywords. This can be done, however high paying adsense keywords should be used wisely.

Just because keywords payout high adsense revenue when clicked does not necessarily mean you must be creating sites for each and every high paying keyword available on the internet. In part 1, I mentioned that it is true that you can make some good money focusing on high paying adsense keywords and I still maintain that you can because I have. Every industry has its own list of high paying adsense keywords and in my experience, it is easier to build website or blog content in a field that you are familiar with and can give valuable information for. It is important to remember this as you build your online business.

The main trick still is:

• to find keywords that payout high,
• these keywords should have a high demand or high number of users searching for them and,
• the keywords should be in low supply meaning competition should be low.

The above scenario is exactly the formula that has worked even for the gurus. It is an ideal scenario because it means you have found a profitable niche and a profitable niche will bring traffic which will later lead to high adsense revenue for you. Pay close attention because now I will tell you how I used high paying keyword lists to make a nice chunk of extra change.

• Choose a topic and search for ideas. I have found that there are actually a lot of sources from where you can get ideas of what users are looking for. Use Yahoo Answers. This is a good resource because it tells you what types of problems people have and the types of questions they need answered. Another source for content is Google/Yahoo News, look at also groups and forums in the topic you choose. Go to Technorati also as they normally have a Where's The Fire or WTF section where you can also find topics that interest users.
• Once you have chosen a topic, the next thing would be the most important step in building your website or blog and that is to find keywords in your topic. Once you have chosen a topic, based on that topic and industry you will now look for keywords. Keyword research can be done with nice little keyword tools that you either pay for or can get for free. The free tools you can use are searchit from sitesell, The overture keyword tool, KeywordDiscovery, and I have found symbiotic to be a reliable source. The difference with symbiotic is that it provides you with information on bid price for a keyword during high time and low time and the number of clicks per day and also total spent per day by adwords advertisers for that keyword. You can also use the adwords sandbox tool to determine search volumes, peak and low seasons and related keywords. Another nice tool is the 7search keyword tool although bear in mind their results are based on their own search network. If you have some money to spare then buying the following tools is a good idea and will cut down a lot of keyword research time as you will have an all inclulsive tool. These are KeywordCountry and KeywordElite.
• Once you have researched keywords, related keywords, ad positions, bid prices, search volumes, competition intensity and topic popularity it is time to gather the best keywords into a spreadsheet with the following columns: keyword, search volume, competition, bid price and these will help you determine your chosen topic's high paying prices and medium to low paying prices. You will then take this spreadsheet and use the keywords to develop content. You can find free content from article directories (be sure to comply with their rules when using their content) and from Project Gutenberg.
• Design your site but keep it clean, in other words do not stuff the page with only keywords and sentences that would not make sense to human readers. Remember that you should write first for your human readers, then for the search engine crawlers. If you do not know how to build a site yourself, it would help to get a professional but shop around for best prices. I personally develop my own sites although sometimes I get designs from open source projects. Apply SEO techniques to your site without compromising on the quality of your content. Keep in mind that Content Is King. If you have lousy content then you will not be very successful in getting visitors and keeping them.
• Once you have done with design of your site or blog and have completed it and setup your domain and hosting, the next drive ofcourse would be to promote your site or blog.

In the last of this three part series, I will tell you how I went about promoting my sites and blogs in order to get traffic in and make that traffic stay. Remember, without traffic your site is as good as non-existant.
